Background

He received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing from the University of British Columbia. Fatt has been nominated twice for KMPG Entrepreneur Of The Year in Vancouver and rated the best food company in his category by the number one evening news-hour show in his market.

Fatt has been a featured speaker at several Dan Kennedy events, including the Glazer-Kennedy Insider Circle Information Summit, and has been featured in several of Kennedy's books. He speaks at many other events including HealthSource Annual SuperCamp - Chiropractic Franchise Event, Automotive Training Institute Annual SuperConference, and via webinar on RestaurantOwner.com with Jim Laube.

Fatt has been featured in publications such as Restaurant Hospitality, Restaurant News, Rocky Mountain News, Chicago Food Industry News, Restaurant Business, The Server, Midwest Foodservice News, and Southwest Industry News. Fatt's clients include Denny's, Culvers, Little Caesar's, Jersey Subs, Sonic Drive-In, Smitty's and thousands of other independent restaurateurs. He is the author of Restaurant Marketing in the New Economy.

Fatt was chosen to participate in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver by carrying the Olympic Torch in the torch relay.

Career

Fatt started his career in the 1980s gaining sales and marketing experience in the food industry sales, setting records that currently stand, before founding his food company in 1994. It is there he discovered and honed his direct marketing skills and expertise. The company provided gourmet food delivery services to the Vancouver area. In 1997, he founded Restaurant Marketing Systems Inc. in response to other entrepreneurs asking him for his help with their marketing.

In 2005, Fatt had branded his system and co-founded it with marketing expert Bill Glazer as Royalty Rewards, a division of Firepower Marketing, Inc.. Royalty Rewards is an automated turnkey marketing program for the restaurant industry and has expanded to other industries such as auto repair and retail, including furniture, men's and ladies' wear, jewelry, pet food stores, convenience stores, surf shops, chiropractic, dry cleaning, shoe and gift shops. He continues to serve as President of that company and Restaurant Marketing Systems Inc. Firepower Marketing, Inc. is located in Blaine, Washington.
